NABARD Grade A Selection Process is important to know if you want to acquire the position of Grade A Officer. In the field of agriculture, NABARD is one of the most demanded exams. Every year, NABARD recruits Grade A Officers by conducting the exam. The candidates who want to get selected for the post must be well-versed in the NABARD Grade A Selection Process 2024. The three phases of the NABARD Grade A 2024 Selection Process consist of the Prelims Exam, Mains Exam, and Interview round.

 
  • The Preliminary Exam of NABARD Grade A will consist of 8 sections out of which 5 sections will be qualifying in nature and rest 3 will be considered for merit.
  • The Mains Exam will consist of two papers (Paper I & Paper II) of 100 marks each.
  • The last round which is the Interview round will be conducted for 50 marks.

NABARD Grade A Selection Process

A three-tiered selection process is followed for the final selection. All the stages of the NABARD Grade A Selection Process 2024 are:

  1. Preliminary Exam: Phase 1 of the NABARD Grade A Selection Process consists of 8 subjects. These are Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, Computer Knowledge, Decision Making, English, ESI, and ARD with a focus on Rural India. A total of 200 questions will be asked for 200 marks. The total duration of the exam is 120 minutes.
  2. Mains Exam: The mains exam is divided into two papers i.e. Paper 1 & Paper 2. Paper 1 will be of General English and Paper 2 will be of ESI & ARD. Paper 1 will be online descriptive & paper 2 will be both objective & descriptive type.
  3. Interview: This is the final stage of the NABARD Grade A Selection Process 2024. The interview stage consists of 50 marks.

  1. Qualifying Section- Test of Reasoning, English Language, Computer Knowledge, Quantitative Aptitude and Decision Making sections are qualifying in nature.

  3. Shortlisting of candidates for Mains exam will be based on the marks obtained in the Merit Section Only.
  4. Duration of exam- 120 minutes.

NABARD Grade A Interview Round

The students who qualify Prelims & Mains exam will be eligible to appear for the interview where questions about various topics issues current affairs will be asked to assess the students on their knowledge about the subject and their presence of mind by asking some tricky questions. A merit list is prepared each year by the National Bank of Agriculture and Rural Development for the students who have cleared the exams with more than cut off marks are called for the interview rounds. The interview consists of an interview for 50 marks. Candidate may opt for Interview either in Hindi or English Language. The candidates qualifying in the interview round will be called for documentation and appointment.
